My wife (no pics) had it for three weeks, it’s only me and her in the house. I never had symptoms and didn’t change how I was living. Maybe I’m immune.

I still stand by my statement that bourbon kills COVID too.

How’d that feel? I saw a lady yesterday get swabbed in both nostrils. She cried and her husband and two kids laughed their butts of while she cried for about 15 minutes.

I hope you and your family feels well soon. Sounds like what my brother is going through right now. He also lives in Rockwall. He also has no taste or smell right now. He's in good health though, so hopefully he'll fully recover here soon.

Texas getting hit hard. I'm in Princeton TX (about hour north of Rockwall) and my wife and I have it. No taste or smell. Lethargic.

I just had it. Positive test and then another positive test 8 days later. I wanted to get another because I assumed the first test was a false positive because I had absolutely zero symptoms other than what you might think were seasonal allergies.

I tested positive the week following Thanksgiving. It wasnt a rapid test. Test was conducted by Oschner at Lamar Dixon. Top out at 101 temp, sinus pressure and chills, but never lost smell or taste. 4 days later I was back to normal. Wife and I had sex twice during those 4 days and was around me 24/7 and she never got sick. Go figure. Probably not a smart thing we did, but I was horny and so was she. She loves to share this story with friends and relatives, especially after a few drinks. She's weird

One night in the 1980’s, we were driving through campus and saw a disturbance at Mike’s cage. This was back when there were two cages, one inside the other, to keep Mike locked up. A guy had entered the first cage and was pacing around, supposedly had a gun, and was asking police to let him talk to Jose Vargas. Campus cops went and got Jose and Jose went up and talked to an obviously disturbed individual who might have had a gun. Jose talked the guy out of the cage.
I was a student when this happened.

IIRC, the guy didn’t specifically ask to talk to Jose - he spoke Portuguese and very little English. Somehow JV ended up translating and assisted with the deescalation of the incident.

Ummmmmm...you know it last longer than a week, right?

It depends, some people have no symptoms at all. I lost my taste and smell for 3 weeks, body aches for only one week, breathing got more difficult but never got a fever at all. It's a false sense of security when businesses insist on a temp scan for entry.

My difficulty breathing was not so bad that I had to check into the hospital just breathing much harder than normal. This was back in April, today I'm still breathing hard. Doc say my lungs have damage from covid but in time it should improve. Now I'm doing breathing exercises daily, seems to be helping somewhat.
