We've been a Blue Plate household for so long I can't remember the last time a foreign mayo sat in our fridge.
Any other good mayos out there? I don't expect them to be as good as Blue Plate but is anything close?

This may be an unpopular opinion it I hate mayonnaise. Will not eat a single dish that has it in it. It's disgusting

Dukes is the mayo king. Blue Plate is inferior.

I grew up on Blue Plate and I am a Dukes guy now.
But I must admit I had blue plate a few months ago and loved it

I grew up on Blue Plate and don't notice much difference between it and Dukes. Either are fine but we usually stick to BP.

Blue plate, Hellmann’s, dukes. That’s the top 3. I’m on Dukes for the last few years.

Serious question guys. Why are you posting in the thread then? The OP asked about which Mayo's are best and both of you posted responses that had nothing to do with the question.

Whenever I make a mayo heavy dip/dressing and do not want to make my own, I use Kraft Mayonnaise. Onion Dip, Spinach dip, ranch dressing, bleu cheese dressing, dill dip, etc.
When I worked in the restaurant industry we used Kraft for everything for one main reason: it is white as frick. It has good flavor, but is really brilliantly white so it makes the finished product look pleasing. Hellman's or Dukes may taste better but they are a bit more brown which can result in your dip being a little off visually, and aesthetics matter when it comes to taste.
The flavor is also very neutral, not too heavy on the fat or the yolk so it works well with the accompanying ingredients and doesn't make the dip/dressing too rich.

I’ve always preferred Blue Plate - bought a jar of Duke’s two years ago after reading several magazine articles and foodie reviews - and was very disappointed
