Faris is great in "Whats Your Number". Ryan Reynolds, really should be given alot of credit for not getting typecast after Van Wilder. Because that role was so perfect for him, such an iconic movie, that you could almost see him getting a Sean William Scott type cast thing.

I think Ryan Reynolds will be his generation's Chevy Chase. He's that level of comedic actor. They both have the subtle comedic delivery, that isn't quite dead pan but something a little more edgy that not many actors can pull off. Although Reynolds really has branched out more than Chase did as far as range of roles.

That movie has one of the all time ridiculous scenes when Faris and Evans play one on one basketball in their underwear.

This just screams some producer telling everyone "Ok, we have two hot people so get them half naked any way you can."

Buying the Cow

Thank fuk someone remembered this. It's possibly the best early Ryan Reynolds.

That film also features absolute prime Bridget Wilson and Alyssa Milano. Hard to believe now, but Reynolds and Jerry O'Connell at one time in the Early 00s were basically on the same level of star power. With O'Connell probably slight above due to Stand By Me and Jerry Maguire.

I actually own both Buying the Cow and Tomcats on DVD.

I'm slightly ashamed.

Nah. Just prime 00s nostalgia. I probably watched Tomcats and Buying The Cow every time it used to come on Starz back in the day.

You want real deep cut from the late 90s early 2000s? Did you ever see Love Stinks?

It's a movie that dared make French Stewart a leading man.

Bridgette Wilson plays his insane girlfriend who makes his life hell and Bill Bellamy and Tyra Banks are the best friends.

As someone who also thought 4 Christmases and Bad Santa were, well, bad I can wholeheartedly recommend Just Friends. It's a great movie.

We used to use this back then...

You call your friend...hey lets play golf tomorrow...He says that he's busy.

"I'm BUSY...YOU STUPID DICK!"

The movie is so quotable...

The wife and I watched Just Friends tonight just because seeing it on this thread reminded me. We’d not seen it in a long time.

We were laughing our asses off. I’d forgotten how funny and quotable it is.
