This board has made me revisit Just Friends for the first time since watching it as a teenager when it came out.

I remember it being fine. A good standard Ryan Reynolds comedy.

But now... Holy shite... Every fricking joke just murders.

Anna Farris puts on genuinly one of the funniest performances I can remember.

I think this film also coined the term "freind zone".

usually not a fan of physical humor but growing up in a house with 2 older brothers the relationship in the movie that Chris has with his younger brother always has me dying in terms of the continuous back and forth...it reminds me of my childhood in a good way

also agree on Faris. Her best role and she steals half the movie with the tooth paste scene, or ASHTON WHERE ARE YOU!!! YOU TOTALLY GOT ME!!! along with countless others

Anna Faris was the only female actress I ever thought was genuinely funny. Not that she's some comedic genius but between Scary Movie 1-3, The Hot Chick, Waiting..., and Observe and Report, she had a lot of really good comedies that she did a good job with in the 2000's. Of course I was right at the age where that type of humor appealed to me, but still.

Scary Movie franchise will always be one of my favorites.

I’M BUSY..... YOU STUPID DICK.

It’s my favorite Christmas movie now. And I agree about Anna Faris. She doesn’t get enough love. She’s very funny.

I am interested in watching this per the board’s recommendations but you also recommend four christmases and bad Santa which were not good.

I am not a fan of Bad Santa at all. I've seen Four Christmases about twice and I am indifferent on it.

Just Friends is genuinely hilarious.

I saw this in theaters with a bunch of friends and we had ZERO expectations.. We were all in tears by the end of the movie. Think I was 14-15 at the time and this movie hit just right.

I'm going to have to watch it this week.

The brother relationship is so spot on to me that I can't not laugh. Its such a perfect representation of siblings from my experience.

The younger one not gaf and trying to smash Anna Farris the entire time is hilarious

Well you’re just broken on the inside. You really shouldn’t watch anything ever.
