The worse part is that people not even born yet will be stuck with the bill. Every year we spend more than we bring in.
Historically, people left an inheritance to their children. They would do without so they would not leave an undue burden on their families. Gov't does not care as long as they keep power and get their share of the pie.

Not really. They'll kick the can down the road, but they will almost surely watch their money and all they’ve worked for become worthless. We may all see that sooner rather than later to be honest.
