Older fans see Ole Miss as an intense rivalry

I see them as an SEC West team that loses most of the time that we call Ole Piss

We pull this one out and go .500. Let's do it

No a-hole, they were WINNING seasons. Don’t try to downplay this season or use the old “it would have been 8-5” like some dumbasses try to do. Your record IS your record. As the saying goes “ If my aunt had nuts, she would be my uncle”. LSU in no way should be hoping for a winning season even this year let alone break even. Those early season losses are squarely on the coaches. This shite show defense is the worst I’ve watched / listened to in my nearly 70 years of following LSU football.

The 1997 loss is the worst for me. We beat #1 Florida the previous week. Everyone had that “we are finally over the hump” feeling. The 6 consecutive losing seasons almost faded away like a bad dream. The very next week we get assigned the dreaded 11 AM JP game. Most people were hung over or still sleeping at the time OM scored their first TD. Next thing you know we are down 21-0 in the second quarter to a shite OM team. Guys getting burned on out and up routes. Missed tackles. Horrible play calling.

Splitting hairs, I know, but we got burned on crossing routes that game. We had no answer and for some reason, we were unable to make adjustments.

What I did here wasn’t caught by everyone. On the record. Ole Miss did not beat us in 2013. We did not beat them either. It basically didn’t happen. They have 4 recorded wins against us in 20 years according to ncaa records. Fact.

That's like Ole Piss claiming that they're 'co-SEC West champions', even though we beat them straight up for the tie breaker.

The 2015 loss was the worst of the group. That team had totally given up at that point. I was watching Les on the sidelines and he looked like a beat down defeated man that night. I'll never understand why he was allowed to return the following year. He had totally lost his team.

This is true. These days younger fans hate list goes like this: Bama, Florida, A&M, Auburn. In that order. No offense to the others but they haven’t ruined our season or done anything to really warrant deep Tiger hate the way the others have lately.

So fricking irritating too. That’s why Les got fired IMO. We were #2. Lose at Bama. All we had to do was finish the season and we’re in the top ten in a NY6 bowl but he lost the team and we ended up in the Texas bowl. So typical Les.
