I think the point is that the only one Davis victimized is the girl he abused. He didn’t do anything to LSU. LSU did this to themselves but not helping this girl.

What Davis did criminally and morally is separate from what the university did after they found out. LSU won't get in trouble for what Davis did they will get in trouble for how they handled it once they found out.

Drake Davis being an abuser and POS isn’t what got LSU in trouble

LSU has only themselves to blame for that

Also,Allegedly J B resigned from the BoS because of this fiasco.

While I'm sure he played a big role in helping protect Davis in some form or fashion, that is not the reason he declined his appointment to the BoS.

He never ended up taking the position and declined it b/c one of his companies is bidding for a huge contract to run the central utilities plant at LSU and didn't want the public impropriety to look any worse than it did. He cared more about the money (not that he needs it) than being on BoS. I'm sure he exerts enough influence as it is without having to officially be on the board.

Quality of character rarely has a place in athletic recruitment. There are hundreds of Lester Earls in one form or another at all major programs.

Didn't Betsy Devoss remove some of the Title IX rules when Trump took office?

that was mostly about more protections for the accused like giving more (or any) due process protections raising the standard of proof to punish that type of stuff.

All Louis Earl did was hurt the basketball team with his lack of talent. At least he didn’t put LSU on probation. He was the best of the bunch.

Talking about the LSU basketball player and his son Drake Davis the football player.
The poster doesn’t help their image much either.

Repeatedly!

Which makes the university’s handling of it even more egregious.

Drake needs to get what’s coming to him, but the sanctions are all on the school.

If the investigation concludes that LSU orchestrated a coverup, it will be multiple years of bowl exclusion, loss of scholarships and God-knows-what-else. Firing O would be just the beginning.

Davis did something he shouldn’t have but everything after that. 100% on the university for not handling it properly.

Why the downvotes for this statement? Drake Davis did something that victimized another human being (by the way, something that happens in society thousands of times per day). He, like all other criminals, has no control over how the governing authority handles it. Society hopes the governing authority handles it properly and should hold them accountable if they don't; Consequently, whatever happened within the LSU Athletic Department is squarely on the Athletic Department....Not Drake Davis.

You must be referring to former chairman of LA Dems while Blank Zero was governor and who was also very tight with Coach, Blank Zero;s hubby.

What’s funny, LSU lack of reporting got them in trouble. Davis name surfaced long before his arrest.

It was the assaults that started the whole thing 100%. There is one person who committed those assaults. Then there are a bunch of idiots who didn’t do what they were supposed to do.
