This has been the plan all along. Linehan replaces E. Calloway moves up to PGC.

Calloway has enough skins on the wall as an OC for fans to feel good about him getting the job

I hope they do promote Calloway to OC. He is a young guy who could possible be the future at HC also. Orgeron will probably retire in 5 or so years.

I’m old enough to remember when the Orgeron model was to hire elite and proven coordinators.
