What’s your opinion of the whole go fund me saga

I am of the belief that it wasn’t a fraud but that the guy has clear substance abuse issues, so handing him almost 25k at a time like this was probably a bad idea.

I’m of the opinion that people should pause before action. Seems like we jumped too fast in this instance. Go Fund Me is irrelevant to the conversation.

My opinion is there is almost never a good reason to give a mass of cash right after a death.

Well I read the thread and his story seemed really trashy tbh. So I wasn’t sure if it was real or fake. But I def wasn’t going to give anyone money.

I never take sob stories at face value, especially when they're asking for money. I don't donate to gofundme the same way I wouldn't give a dollar to a crackhead.

I have one with like 14 or 15 pages, but I'll go ahead and tell you that I'm just looking for someone to help with me a fix.
