I’m really trying to stick with it but it’s pretty bad.

Friend,

I hoped, but my hope was dashed. It, like Gangs of London, is a ridiculous show.

This show is pretty tough.

Gues I’ll stick it out at this point

But the student-teacher fricking.. give that walking Skelton props.... the young art teacher is fine as hell

Started out with so much promise but so predictable. Will probably finish it, but the son is getting pretty annoying and the back story where we are all going to learn about social injustice is coming on pretty thick.

Best episode of the show so far

Bad man Baxter now knows it was the judge who erased the gas station footage

Things should really heat up now

It's terrible. Just Walter White lying, a stupid kid and over the top Louisiana stereotypes.

It's ridiculous that Kofi was arrested for vehicular homicide when there was no discussion at all about intoxication.

The only way you can be arrested/convicted of vehicular homicide in Louisiana is if you're intoxicated.

Hit and run involving a death would be the charge:

quote:

La. R.S. 14:100:

Whoever commits the crime of hit-and-run driving, when death or serious bodily injury is a direct result of the accident and when the driver knew or should have known that death or serious bodily injury has occurred, shall be fined not more than five thousand dollars or imprisoned with or without hard labor for not more than ten years, or both.

It's still a felony, but they act like it's murder in the show. The charge has no minimum sentence/fine.

At least get a consultant that knows Louisiana law.

Son, N'awlins is like a gumbo. We bury our dead above ground after a jazz procession and we live in shotgun houses. Don't expect to run through the streets because we always have a Mardi Gras parade or a Red Dress Run going. Rules are like donuts, only in N'awlins we call them beignets.

Hyaw, hyaw, hyaw, nah come onh back soon nyaw.

Every time these two are on screen I refer to them as Morticia and Gomez.

this, along with the court scenes, turned me off completely

they are acting like the kid was facing murder 1

my wife hates watching this and other courtroom shows with me

I roll my eyes so much they're sore the next day.

I made her a deal that I'd watch this, but she'd have to watch My Cousin Vinny with me (just found out she's never seen it) so she can see a (pretty) accurate courtroom show.

I really want to love this - but seems like the leaps of logic are just becoming absurd...

1. Why would the parents have the inmate killed when it’s obvious with any basic investigation would show he clearly had nothing to do with it (I’m sure it’s some sort of race card)

2. Why would Cranston hire an attorney for the guy accused of the hit and run? She clearly is good at her job and would find out the easy Inconsistency in the story

3. Why bring in the Costello detective to begin with? If he didn’t do that - no issue at all

It is entertaining and 5 episodes in the crapola is going to hit the fan... a good watch but some silly plot choices IMHO

That makes sense, although per Wikipedia, there will be a new episode on the night of the Super Bowl. I realize that the SB broadcast begins at 5:30, but the AFCCG broadcast started around that time as well.

He called her initially to help with his sons surrender but she didn't answer. When he realized who his son killed he had to come up with a reason for calling her, that's when he told her about the car theft.
