Anyone 20-30 yrs old, has no idea how good they’ve had it as a Saints fan.

The 30ish crowd has paid their price like the rest of y’all. It’s the fans closer to 20 and younger that have only seen the Payton/Brees era

Those teams would be considered good compared to some of the others, lol.

Ain't that the truth. I was made fun of in school for wearing Saints gear.

I’m 29 and mostly just remember the Haslett years and even those make me realize what we have in Sean Payton and also get annoyed when people take shots at him. He’s not perfect but he’s a top 5 NFL coach and we are very lucky to have him.

Same here. I remember the dueling Billy Joe's at QB well. And let's not pretend like the end of the Haslett era didn't happen too.

Pretty short sided. Saints were dog shite way shorter than 30 years ago. But if you never witnessed the Bill Joe’s (yeah that’s plural) or Aaron Brooks throwing the ball backwards then don’t even talk to me.

I remember one of those plays. Hokie groaned before Henderson told us what happened.

Shannon Sharpe said it was Aaron Brooks doing what Aaron Brooks does best - make a dumb play.

That's so true. My dad and I attended the "Let's Go Pro" game at Tulane Stadium. We were in the same seats when John Gilliam returned the opening kickoff in a loss to the Rams. Gary Cuozzo was the starter, replaced by Billy Kilmer pretty early in the season.

I was there when Tom Dempsey kicked the 63-yarder to beat the Lions.

I was there when Russell Erkxleban missed a field goal to lose to St. Louis in 1980 and turned in my Saints card.

To my credit I never wore an Aints bag.

The Sean Payton years have been so much better.

Crazy to think that the first playoff win for the Saints was with Brooks at QB. He had a short stretch where he was pretty solid.

I’ll be honest. I’m 24 and don’t feel the same pain as some of you older baws. Let’s see I was 10 when 2006 happened so I’ve really only seen happy days.

I guess other than the playoff losses, but everyone feels those, 2012-2016 wasn’t the most fun, outside of 2013.

He wasn't terrible until his last season.

But he lacked mental toughness.

Feel old but i remember as a kids in Tulane stadium screaming to put Ed Hagget in when we had Billy Kilmer.
That was right before we got Manning if im correct.
