Like I said... There’s 2 the staff feels are done deals. Leigh and Maason. Not going to pretend it’s some good thing somehow he’s going to OU for the weekend, but we know where we stand with him and his family.

So I guess it looks like Maason and Foreman aren’t really a package deal like they have talked about all year. It rarely I ever turns out that way with kids who say they are going to the same school. Something g always seems to happen. I hope this is the one time we land both though because Foreman could be the guy that makes the new 4-3 DL go from very good to great. We need DE I like where we are at DT with Roy, Guillory and Maason but we need someone to team with Ojulari on the outside.

Koht, Jackson, and Jones will all play DE. It’s the one position we are stacked at in this class.

The staff cant possibly feel Leigh is close to a done deal now. He isn't visiting OU again to take a sight seeing trip. Then the talk of his girlfriend going to UF so he's visiting there too potentially. That's not the actions of a guy you still see as a lock.
I know he said he was coming here to our coaches after his 2nd visit but that was, what, over 3 months ago now? A lot can change and recruiting is fluid and they have to be pushing as hard as possible right now if the guy is going around visiting places still.

He isn't visiting to commit either. He's visited/will visit a few schools and only one is gonna land him. Same goes for Foreman. It's called recruiting and it's normal this time of year for kids to visit schools they aren't going to sign with. Just far less normal this year with no officials. Optics of this visit aren't great but when he visits elsewhere before signing OU fans will be panicking just like we are. Relax

In a 4-3 I feel like your ends need to be at minimum 240 if not 250.

Ojulari actually has the highest run defense grade of any Dline on the team per PFF right now if you exclude Fonua who has basically barely played at all (15 snaps). It's not a big difference from him down to Logan and Farrell being next up though. Ali Gaye's rush defense grade is actually a decent bit worse than Ojulari's, probably because of a lot of missed tackles.

I think Leigh just promised Caleb Williams he would visit Oklahoma one more time and this is just him going through the motions before signing day

I'm surprised his snap count is so low. I would assume most of his snaps have come in the last two games. He's stood out to me a few times.
