Most boneheaded FF move you have ever made?

Everyone always loves to brag about the good moves they made, lets hear some of the worst ones and how it played out for your team.
Mine, I dropped Justin Jefferson after week 2 this year in my big money league.
Luckily I start 3 WRs that have kept me in the lead most of the year, but surely could have flipped him for a RB to run away with the league.

I dropped Tom Brady the year he started out slow then won the MVP.

How about a near-miss?
I tried to trade away James Robinson this year for either Le'Veon Bell or Jonathon Taylor after Week 1. Luckily for me, both offers were declined.

I unintentionally dropped D. Swift before he broke out then traded for him a day before his concussion.
Actually I traded for both Mostert and Swift right before they got injured. This past week I had 4 injured RBs on my bench and at one time 3 on IR.

I have two that stick out.
Drafted rookie Alvin Kamara and dropped after week 1
Drafted rookie David Johnson and dropped after week 1
Obviously got both these guys late in the draft and they ended up top 2 RBs

Drafted Marvin Harrison in his rookie year in the second round.

Drafting CEH in the first was pretty dumb.

Someone dropped Antonio Gibson after a few weeks in one of my leagues and I added him.
He’s been in my lineup every week.

Kareem Hunts rookie year and Carson Wentz sophomore year where he was lighting it up (year they won the Super Bowl). I was offered Jameis Winston and Todd Gurley for Hunt and Wentz. I turned it down bc I didn’t want the downgrade at qb. Well the next week Wentz tore his acl and Hunts production slowed down the rest of the year. I still made it to the championship but lost to the guy who offered me Gurley. Gurley went off in that game. Would have won the league had I made that trade
Also dropped Mark Andrews before week 1 last year. However it was to get Darren Waller after Brown got cut so that wasn’t too bad.
I also cut Matt Ryan one year after week 1 bc he had poor showing in favor of Russel Wilson. Ryan went on to light it up while Russ just handed the ball off to carson all year.
Took Devontae Freeman over josh jacobs last year
I think I drafted cordarrelle Paterson really early one year with the Vikings bc I thought he was going to be Randy moss.
Dropped Gronk his rookie year before the season started

Traded Chris Johnson for Ladinian Tomlinson 1 game into his 2k season
CJ2k: 2500 total yards and 16 TDs
LT: < 900 yards and 12 TDs

I traded CEH for Jefferson, Guice, and Duvernay in dynasty before Damien Williams opted out. Then Guice’s legal issues came out. I was absolutely kicking myself for that trade. Turned out way better than I could have imagined.

I dropped Roethlisberger for Carr this week and it'll likely cost me the playoffs

Sat Gurley for Boone last year.
Gurley scored 16 points and Boone did nothing playing for the injured dalvin cook.
In hindsight it was dumb but Gurley was playing the niners stout d from last year and boone was going to get all the rb snaps against a soft packer d.

Boone is a legend that won me a championship last year. I had Cook and Mattison both out and my opponent picked up Boone thinking he had me.

Drafted CEH in the first round, traded for Zeke (week 11) and Michael Thomas (week 4) this year.
Was the lucky opponent to face Tight End Taysom last week as well.
I'm #1 PF and #1 PA, I've lost 3 games by a combined 8 points, was the 2 seed 2 weeks ago and looking like I'll now miss the playoffs.
2020 sucks. I feel like a loser for caring so much but damn, FF usually comes easy.

I am having the same kind of season. There has been 300 more points scored against me than anyone else in the league in 0.5 ppr league. I lost games where I had Dalvin cook scoring nearly 50 points. I have lost 5 out of my last 6 games. Seem to play the highest scoring team every week. Won’t make the playoffs
Meanwhile the lowest scoring team in the league is firmly in 2nd place.

I didnt check my roster on Thanksgiving day until 11:33 in my guillotine league. Upon doing so I realized deandre swift was locked into my lineup with a big O beside his name. I somehow managed to survive.

Not necessarily bone headed since we're still in year 1 of the deal, but I did trade Nick Chubb and my 1.10 pick for Robby Anderson & 1.01 last year.
