Terrace Marshall made a business decision

Some of you are losing your shite but I can’t blame the young man. He already had an injury that cost him several games last year.
He has millions of dollars on the line and seeing the inconsistency of the team, changing of QBs after two drives and the overall regression of the team, how can we blame him. I called this last night.
Many of you won’t admit it but you’d do the same, especially if you weren’t being paid and had millions riding on your health. His future is on the line each time he steps on the field and he did give us all he had for a few games but at this point what’s the benefit to him staying?
He’s put enough on tape, gave us all he had for the games he did play and as much as I believe this young man loves LSU, again he has to make a business decision.
I love Chase as well but at least TM gave us a few games and put his heart into it. Now it’s time to get our young receivers more reps with whichever freshmen QB for next year.
I hate this as much as you all but won’t talk negative about the young man. He bleeds purple and gold and will be #ForeverLSU.
So let’s be upset but thank the young man for his services and get ready to see our young receivers sharpen their skill-sets for next year.
I’ve said this many times but let’s all agree, this season is a lost cause and all we can do it build/prepare for the future.

No respect for him quitting on his team. Selfish

I love when people who work at fast food institutions talk about business decisions. The dude quit. He is a fake and he is what is wrong with collegiate athletics. From one and done to opting out. It's all the same. It is killing the sport and spirit of the competition.

This mindset where we roll over and say good for him is bullshite and will never help out the program. He’s played this far into the season, why quit now? Dude is a baller but frick quitting on your team.

It’s a business decision, but that doesn’t mean he didn’t quit.
Every year players have the opportunity to leave early and they don’t. The guy quit on his team. The risks of playing college football are known from day one.

Lol a business decision? Quitting on your team mid season is a terrible look

It’s his decision to make but sugarcoating it and making silly excuses for him doesn’t change the fact that it’s a selfish and exposing decision.

It’s very clear how many people on this board have never made a business decision before.
Good for TM.

frick that “business decision.”

The youth of today need to understand what the word commitment means. The selfishness and "quit when it doesn't suit my needs" mentality is gross.

All that money on the line, then why even start the season? So bullshite.
Inconsistency, sure... but other teams have had that and players kept playing. So bullshite.
Change in QB, SERIOUSLY??? You were probably one calling for TJ the first time MB had a 3 and out. So bullshite.
Sorry... I'm old school and just don't understand the "opting out" because if you're truly opting out then that should be a knee for this year and see you next. These opt outside are just quitting.... period. And that's fine, but call it what it is.

he quit. Period. He gave that speech to the team about how he had nothing to play for and was still playing...then quit shortly thereafter.

I don’t know why people feel entitled to these players loving LSU and playing for their fandom. For every Marshall there are 5 receivers that never see the field that nobody cares about. Damn right this a business.

This is weird meaningless season. I don’t fault him for opting out.

Can’t say I blame him. He’s a businessman taking care of business.
