People who change their cell numbers every few years

Are trashy and hang around trashy people that harass people on the telephone. My cousin told me she changed her number due to an ex boyfriend harassing her. I asked her why she didn’t just block him. She didn’t have good answer. She is stupid and trashy with a couple tattoos and fake chest. I wish she wasn’t in my family

I use Google Voice to hand out temporary numbers to ppl I don't want to have my actual number. I've had the same number since 16yrs old, now 34yrs old.

So many ways to get around that.

I’ll change mine when I retire from work.

Yeah it seems pointless nowadays. I've had my same number for over 10 years now. A friend of mine who moved to Louisiana to Florida over 5 years ago still has their same number with their Louisiana zip code.

Why wouldn't he? It's a cell number, not a land line. I know someone else who moved from New Mexico to NYC to work as a flight attendant at Delta and she still has her original cell number with her New Mexico zip code.

I think he means area code.
My best friend moved from GA to WI and his family kept their Atlanta area cell phone numbers.
I've had the same cell number since 2001. When the cell companies caved and offered number portability (or were forced to by the feds, I can't remember which), it was a real game changer in the industry. Before, people would keep crappy plans and coverage because they didn't want to change numbers.

Are you meaning area code?

eh i have changed it once and will do so again next year - mainly because I'm looking at expanding a new office and think a local area code will be beneficial for business.,
But also, having a chance to escape some of the constant robocalls is a plus. I get like 10 - 15 a day and it is miserable.
