Bourbon neat. If people don't like that maybe give them some seltzer and they can figure their own drink.

Don’t worry downvoter. I’m sure your boyfriend would like it too. Didn’t mean to leave out our gay friends.

Spicy boiled jumbo shrimp, good cocktail sauce on a bed of shredded lettuce, with a squeeze of lemon, best cocktail of all time

Traditional Family Cocktail
2oz Maker's Mark (kept in the freezer)
1oz Dry Sparkling Wine (cold from the ice chest)
Splash of Grenadine (out of the fridge)
1 Maraschino cherry (the bright red ones, not the fancy dark ones)
Pour all liquid ingredients into a flute and swirl to stir. Garnish with abnormally colored bright red Maraschino cherry.
Friends, I'll spare you the details of how this became our family's annual cocktail. You can adjust the proportion of spirit to sparkling to fit your taste buds. Typically we drink these when visiting my parents for Christmas.

I realize this is lame as hell. But I’m having a ladies brunch and bought this prism powder you can put in glasses for champagne.
