Adams has one year left on his contract. It’ll clear up cap space for a much better FA class next season

In!

I’ve always liked Steven Adams, and his toughness will be great. Wish he could shoot a little better, but spelling him with Melli will work.

You have to give it to Griff. The man is amazing at getting quality players on short term contracts. He has a great sense of building a team with a mix of youth and veterans without hamstringing the future.

Called it boys. Pels didn't need more scoring they needed some interior defense next to Zion. Meli was not brought here for no reason, he's our stretch 5 guy for now at least. Excellent pick up

I'm more than fine with bringing Adams in.

But he's still a negative value contract and Bledsoe positive, so I'd need to know what else we're getting to make this worth it for us.

Yeah, this should be interesting. How many first round picks can Oklahoma City possibly want? We have a lot and they have a lot, and you can only have so many players on your roster.

He’s a need on a short contract. Plain and simple. Much better than overpaying a big in this market.

He's not remotely worth $27mil, that's how.

Expiring contracts do have value, but not let's give up Eric Bledsoe for Adams value. We need more.

Again, that's fine, but if it's for Bledsoe, we need more coming back our way.

Moving Bledsoe pretty much tells you how high they are on Lewis. That’s not a bad thing.

And before you go crying, wait for all the details to be released.

Guess we’ll find out who’s getting a pick out of it. Us or OKC

Not relevant to Bledsoe's value.

I've literally said that in every post, try a little harder to keep up.

Bledsoe is better than Adams and on a better deal, not sure in what world we'd give them picks.

We have to match around 27 million worth of salary so at the very least Bledsoe is going out and probably George Hill too
