I don't think they'll have issues doing this if needed. Teams will have cap space next summer, and all of their players who they may have to move would have value (Robinson, Nunn, maybe Herro).

If he's leaving anyway, I'm sure the Bucks would take a sign and trade of Robinson, Nunn, and Herro. Their entire team would be Butler, Bam, and Giannis surrounded by minimums though

The Lakers were just about in that position this year, and they did OK.

You take those 3 and worry about the details after.

Plus you get the MLE, and slowly build your top 8 dudes over the next couple of years.
