Is it safe to say Latoya has turned vibrant New Orleans into Detroit?

I mean what a massive bitch.

Likely will be severely limited fans if any allowed at Pelicans games, Pat O’s closed, No Mardi Gras, many other restaurants closes.

As much as I hate New Orleans, I now have no reason to go there for the foreseeable future. Which actually makes me sad. In reality, I don’t mind a day trip here and there

Was saying this today, what little charm the little has left, will most certainly be gone. The city let an outsider do this too.

I wouldn't say that. Detroit actually has a better future and more going for it.

“Is it safe to say”

“Am I the only one”

These are things women, and feminine men start sentences with. Grow a pair!

New Orleans would be lucky to be Detroit.

I mean, she absolutely sucks but you’d have to be on some next level drugs to say NOLA has ever been close to a decently ran city.

She’s a big problem, but the bigger problem is that NOLA is singularly dependent on tourism for its revenue. You can’t work remotely bartending, waiting tables, etc. You can work from home or remotely in finance/banking, engineering (at least part of the time), etc.

Unemployment is $888 a month max here as it’s taxed. I can’t imagine living in New Orleans with the cost of living. A lot of people’s unemployment runs out December 26.

Destroya accelerating what Mother Nature was going to do eventually anyway. The Mighty Mississippi and hurricanes will eventually get their way with that city.

Well said Mr. Waydown. Latoya is an awful excuse for a person in any political position. Statues are down yet the city keeps drowning in it’s own easily preventable toxicity. The city can be a better place with the right leadership, but sadly you’re dealing with the ignorance of idiotic Orleans parish voters. Nola will always be Nola, but the destroya will always destroy. Very sad!

The decline of New Orleans started before Latoya ever set foot in the city. She just accelerated the process.
