What it means to me is a phrase used to broadly imply every single white person is racist. A phrase weaponized to diffuse meaningful debate for the satisfaction of not dealing with the true problem.

The thing that scares me is if you call someone something so long, so often they inevitably become that something. There will be a fracture point.

Actually it means the exact opposite. Systemic racism just means that the current rules or processes in place negatively impacts one group over another. And this means that even if the policemen aren’t racist, policing can negatively impact one group over another.

I get why it seems like systematic racism feels that way, but thats really not what its supposed to mean.

Its supposed to mean that there are systems in place that work against minorities(intentionally or not). I think if we take an honest look at how everything works in society I think we could all agree it exists. The problem is so many get triggered just by the phrase they can't have an honest conversation. The other issue is, the left is so biased they can't see that they support systematic racism!

The whole thing is a shite show because most people can't take their emotions out and have legitimate intelligent conversations with each other. And so many people want to blame someone else instead of fixing themselves first.

Lol.
No wonder you are so triggered by it. Thats not at all what it means. Its a system that is setup that puts one or more races at a disadvantage intentionally or unintentionally. Regardless of whether or not you agree, it exists in some facets. When it comes to getting loans for example.

Ok but that’s not what it means.

That’s not what systemic racism means. It literally means the opposite of that. It means that past racism has affected our systems beyond the choices of individuals. So, individual who’re people don’t have to be racist at all for systemic racism to keep having an effect because the way our systems were established and perpetuated favored one race over another.

Now, I have no idea if that is the case here. But, words matter and systemic racism absolutely does not mean that all white people are racist.

Well, that's stupid. It neither means nor implies that. It means that racism is built into the laws (the system). A minority of policemen are racist and harass black people because they are racist. That is NOT systemic. If a majority of them did it there would be a case for labeling it systemic. If there were laws - as there were about water fountains, bus rides, etc - THAT would be systemic.

As I posted above, the laws discriminating against white people and Asians are examples of systemic racism.
