I was discussing this during the game with someone. We figured that they held him out for two reasons. First, he didn’t practice or game-plan during the week. Second, if they happen to lose their only tough game of the season, they could still get into the playoffs if they have a good excuse. “Not having the starting QB” is a better excuse than “the QB wasn’t prepared “.

They didnt hold him out. The ACC protocol after a diagnoses of COVID didnt allow him to play but he could travel with the team and be on the sidelines. You know, because science.

The virus is very selective for who it attacks. It cannot be spread amongst his teammates and coaches on the sidelines, but it has announced that it will ravage the other team as soon as he puts on pads. Science, y’all.

Covid is nothing more than a Cold virus.... People do all sorts of things when they have a cold, and now that Trump is not in charge, the rules for Covid will change.
Seeing him on the sidelines with his mask half on/off only further fuels the fire that this was a big political stunt.
