Watch players who actually played in this defense talking up Pelini

If you watched the video you will see we have guys that dont know gap assignments and lb's that don't shoot gaps
and corners that don't know how to switch in coverage. We are young and didnt have a full in person spring to coach these players up. not to mention quitters who left the program for whatever reason. All I am saying is give it time we need Horses to run this defense !

Be careful...you might get banned...you are using logic to make a point. And that is unacceptable.

The whole staff has to go so we can get Herman when he gets fired.

LSU had 7 extra weeks of practice due to the late start.

When Aranda showed up we had no NTs and we had more specialist/kickers on the roster than LBs.....yet we still had a good defense.

A coach can overcome and teach a scheme that works.

you’re saying this like the defense is just bad when in reality, our defense is historically dog shite

They were in the facilities from June until the season. LSU didn't spend millions on a state of the art walkthrough room for nothing. They had more installs than any normal offseason.

The lack of contact practices could be an excuse, but it is week 6. They had plenty of time to learn the scheme.

Good effort, but the people on this board know way more than the former players you referenced.

Bro Arkansas has a Entire new coaching staff and their defense looks light years ahead of LSU D. So are you telling me Arkansas D is more talented than LSU bc they both have brand new schemes and Coordinators

This!!! How can Arkansas, a team that didn’t win a conference game in 2 years put a competent defense on the field, with a new staff and zero 4&5 star players?

Literally every college football team has had to deal with this. Stop using this as an excuse.
