Bezos - Hard to fully comprehend

Net worth: 179.4 Billion
He would have to make no more money and spend $16,372,347 EVERY DAY (even Feb 29) for 30 years!
Let me clarify, I DO NOT LIKE THIS PRICK AT ALL! I just wanted to see how much money that really is and it’s fricking stupid.

Last Christmas I gave you my heart, but the very next day, you gave it away. THIS year to save me from tears, I’ll give it to someone special.
Can’t get that damn song out of my head now.

You missed the ultimate 2020 line..
Last Christmas, I gave you my heart
But the very next day you gave it away
This year, to save me from tears
I'll give it to someone special
Once bitten and twice shy
I keep my distance
But you still catch my eye
Tell me, baby Do you recognize me?
Well, it's been a year
It doesn't surprise me

I'll give it to someone special

Why do You care? I can order my family and friends all that I want and have it delivered to my door within the week.
And not have to waste time away From making money Waiting in stores.
He can make whatever the frick he Wants:
I can work and take care of those I love more

Is this one of those math problems that is missing some crucial data?

Sounds like you’re a bit obsessed with other people’s money.

Technically, you have what you need to do a math problem. You’ve gotta figure out how many years he has to spend $16million every single day!!.. But, that wasn’t the point of the post, so I added the years.

How many tupperware bins of rubber dog shite that breaks after minimal use can people stuff into their 3/2 garages? This country needs to return to quality goods. Less is in fact more especially if the products actually work.

And this is the meat skull that sits in his 5’4” neck.

Sometimes it seems that some people think that people who own a chunk of a large public company actually have their wealth in cash sitting in a savings account or a shoebox in the closet.

So you're mad that he made something no one else offered and is now rich?

You might as well try to explain that to a wall. People think net worth equals the cash in their checking account.

Just think if he didn't give almost half of his wealth away in a divorce a few years back.

Only reasons I care:
1) Amazon weasels its way out of paying its fair share of federal taxes while simultaneously getting massive tax breaks from local and state governments for its operations. They are the epitome of corporate welfare.
2) Amazon has become so large and powerful that they break the usual norms of market dynamics. They can do things to stifle competition that they shouldn't. For example, they wanted to buy out diapers.com but the owners refused. Amazon then sells their own diapers at a loss and bleeds diapers.com out until the owners are forced to sell at even less than originally offered.
Bezos is the lead man so he is assumed to be behind the shady practices, and he clearly benefits from them.
I don't know what Bezos himself pays in taxes so I can't speculate on that much

Beat me to it.
People who say dumb stuff like that really need to sit through a tax law course just to get an idea of what is really happening.
I had a friend who brought Amazon up once and was all indigent and I asked how much he thought his employer paid in taxes. Had no idea. I said go ask your boss what he thinks of a payroll tax.
Amazon is paying that for every employee. They pay more federal tax in a month than you will in several lifetimes.
The same people read that Donald Trump paid $400 in taxes and are all hE’s a cOn MaN and don’t understand that he also just cuts checks of millions of dollars to the IRS every year.
