Where do we go from here?

What positive is there to say? Is there anything we can grab onto and build upon at this point?

Get their arse on film and drills until they figure it out
Give them homework on what they went through during the day
Question them like a test to see who understands

I mean this season is just about trying to improve and salvage pride. Need to play with some kind of fundamentals and urgency, not seeing either at the moment. Then you go into the offseason and look at what kind of changes you need to make, either on the field or on the coaching staff, to try to bounce back to an 8 or 9 win type season next year.

Coaching is all about getting better. No other reason to have them. We're going to the tougher part of the schedule, don't look good. I'd just like to see D become respectable.

Positives are
- Brennan has exceeded expectations so far
- The QB room as a whole is very promising
- Gilbert is as good as advertised
- Emery is a rising star
- Marshall is a superstar
- Eli can carry the torch at CB
- Our DEs are rushing the passer better than expected
The fact that we have this many positives shows just how bad the negatives are. The drop off from players who are performing to those who aren’t is the biggest I’ve ever seen at LSU.

Agreed, there are lots of positives, and the future is bright....just have to take our lumps this year and move on
