The last few Star Wars movies have been pretty horrifying.

Can’t wait to figure out which of the 8 main Star Wars characters the ghost/monster would be related to

Thrawne could be that guy. I am more interested in what a Wes Craven Harry Potter series movie look like. It would be very visceral.

I do believe there was a Star Wars novel back in the day that was set aboard a possessed or something like Star Destroyer.

You could do a predator thing, a vengeful force ghost thing, a derelict vessel, etc.
Would be easy and unique

Honestly a Star Wars horror story isn’t that bad of an idea.

Night Sisters
ETA: Honestly, a show set on Dathomir would have to be horrifying.

Wouldn't Ep 9- The Rise of Skywalker technically be considered a horror movie?
I mean, it's basically got The Mummy premise. Palpatine evil spirit attempting to return to the Living, by sucking the Force out of Rey and Kylo.

The Mandalorian episode where he was hunting and killing the others on the space station was essentially from Alien (Except in this case, “Alien” won). The style it was shot, music, everything, led to that suspense and surprise.
A film in the similar manner with Vader doing as much in his prime would be pretty scary IMO.

Path of least resistance to work in psychological horror + Rancors for the Jurassic Park T-Rex factor.

There is a Star Was novel I read about 10 years ago that follows Han, Chewie and maybe Lando. They end up on a star destroyer full of zombies. It was pretty good.
