This 21 day rule is going to ruin that conference season and I think it is by design to prove a point

It's absolutely by design and anyone who doesn't see the motive behind this is blind.

So if they have a large breakout and a lot of players test positive, they pretty much shut down everything for 21 days?

It's going to be interesting to see if the 5% positivity threshold is ever reached to shutdown a program for a week.

Ohio State purposely added a handful of support staff to the program so more positive tests would be needed to shut things down.

As someone who treats people with this disease on a daily basis, that 21 day rule is ridiculous. A healthy college athlete will not be able to transmit the virus more than 10 days from symptom onset based on all currently available information.

I believe the rule is a program shuts down things for a week if the rolling weekly positivity rate is greater than 5%.

I might be off on that though.

Right, but if you have a lot of players test positive and they’re all out for 21 days you’re pretty much shutdown

Well he was just in the huddle screaming in the mouths of other players 2 days ago...

So I'm sure more tests will come back positive and Wisky will shut down and there's their fricking season and the Big10 Presidents rejoice on how smart they were.

They are tested daily so I doubt it. Unless yesterday's test was a false negative.

Big 10 season will be canceled in a couple weeks.

Imagine if Florida had these rules. They wouldn't play a game until December

People with zero common sense are often over educated liberal elites.

When you spend your entire life on a college campus you lose touch with reality.

Probably got it from some chick Friday night.

What’s the point of all this if you can’t hammer a sloot or two after throwing 5 tds in your first game?

F*ck A 2020. I’m so done with you

What is the rule on contact tracing for teams in the big 10? Does everyone that had contact with him have to quarantine?
