I think their substitute is the daily testing. Unlike other leagues (3/week)

What is the rule on contact tracing for teams in the big 10? Does everyone that had contact with him have to quarantine?

Trying to find.

I hope his roommates are all freshmen walk-ons

They just added a week so they can still claim moral superiority over the South.

Also, is Covid a performance enhancing disease?

A lot of teams gonna be fricked if there ends up being an outbreak on one team.

I think that is the unspoken goal. The conference didn’t want to play, at all. They were “forced” to because the other major conferences didn’t capitulate and the Big 10 looked ridiculous.

The cataclysmic predictions of the virus “ravaging” college campuses haven’t come true, at all. Thus, they are doing everything they can to shut down the season without having to affirmatively shut it down. They are trying to achieve a de facto shutdown

I believe the rule is a program shuts down things for a week if the rolling weekly positivity rate is greater than 5%.

About how many players and staff do most teams have? 5% is a very small number

Correct. So let's also put this in some perspective too: you can come back sooner from a concussion than you can from being an asymptomatic Covid case. You can also have the Tua tight rope ankle procedure and come back sooner from being an asymptomatic Covid case. What a bunch of clowns

The third week is for a week of conditioning prior to playing again.

Received a tweet a few minutes ago and checked it out. No update yet on #Badgers QB Graham Mertz, but Chase Wolf was not at practice Monday.

Danny Vandenboom, come on down.

ETA: His career stats at Wisconsin: 1-1, 3 yds, 1 TD

4th string QB, that's rough.
