That can't be real can it? I can't image removing that much hide and meat from something and it not bleeding out within a minute

Wonder if its like Stone crabs and their claws? You take one back strap and it grows back. Next year you get the other. Never run out.

I would go with combine got a hold of him. The mountain lion theory doesn’t add up because though they are powerful, a mountain lion isn’t going to pull the hide off an animal while it’s alive like that. Regardless I doubt that deer stayed alive much longer
