A quick word on Halloween costumes and cultural appropriation

If you're a parent, or an adult who still likes to put on a costume for whatever reason, don't listen to the elites who pontificate from their ivory towers. Dress yourselves up however you want to. If your daughter is white and wants to go trick or treating as Princess Jasmine from Aladdin, let her. If your son is black and wants to go around getting candy reciting the Gettysburg Address dressed like Abraham Lincoln, let him. If your gender neutral child wants to go around town dressed up as a cross between Pippi Longstalking and Marilyn Manson, let them.
This is America. We are the ultimate culture appropriators because we are the ultimate cultural melting pot. Do whatever the hell you want. It's a free country. Don't let the Karens and the elites of the world influence who you are and what you do.

I feel like you're appropriating the culture of culture appropriation SJWs. I'm offended.

Nice meta-analysis! And very accurate.

My kids are going as ghosts. Can't offend anyone with that.

I’ve already got a laptop, anyone know where I can find some cocaine and a 14 year old niece?
I’m going as Hunter Biden this year.

My toddler wants to go as "blue" so I guess all blue it is.

If you’re over 10 years old, you should not put a Halloween costume on.

Cultural appropriation is a made up concept not everyone accepts.

I'd dress up as Dracula, but don't want to offend any Romanians.

Thanks for sharing your feelings. Now all the little black boys dressed like Confederate soldiers don't have to feel so bad.

My kids are going as cultural appropriators for Halloween this year. I have a feeling that my youngest son’s Asian eyed, black face, trans, Indian costume is going to be a real contender at the costume contest this year.
