Another one bites the dust - Sweet Rolls in Denham Springs

COVID 19 has a new casualty. Sweet Rolls in Denham Springs has officially CLOSED.
The Facebook page indicates COVID 19 and the fallout therefrom to be the cause.
I pour my glass of wine out for these people. That was some damn good ice cream and a nice wholesome family treat.
It’s a damn shame our government couldn’t contain this virus more effectively to prevent these types of things from happening.

Ice cream is primarily a take out place without table service. A place like this wasn’t really dealing with restrictions.

It doesn’t sound like you actually visited this place.

Didn’t the legislature just recently end all the restrictions?

lets be honest, this place was never going to make it anyway. Blaming covid is weak and incorrect. This isn't a sit down place, its grab and go.

Shut the frick up. The virus didn’t cause this. The government did. The closing of this business and any other business is specifically due to a government wanting power and using a bullshite virus as a front. I’m tired of you people acting like the government’s inability to do virus containment is why you can’t go get ice cream now. As if somewhere between not balancing their budget and shady corruption issues local governments have expertise in virus containment. You people are morons.

Then If it’s that good they should have been able to reformat into a to go and make it. Obviously you didn’t support them enough during the bullshite restrictions.

Plus. all the customers were cowering at home because we were led to believe that if we left our homes, we were going to die. Maybe business picked up a little after 6 months, but the overall loss of business was too much to overcome.
Keep in mind that even when there were zero customers, there was rent, utilities, and notes on gear. So whether it was a primarily take-out, eat in, or whatever, it doesn't matter if fear mongering has your clients hovering at home.

Bullshite gaslighting, or you are admitting what our governor and Destroya did didn’t work.

Exactly.
And the first bailout was too slow and not enough.
The second one never came.

Democratic fear mongering is to blame for this and nothing else.
