Most anywhere in Southdowns you can hear the assholes with the loud cars on Lee, no matter the time of day.
Get [your obnoxiously unnecessarily loud car noise] off my lawn

What I don't understand is why the people who drive the trucks with the loudest mufflers insist on firing up the engine and letting it idle in the driveway for 10 minutes before they actually drive off to wherever they're going.

Has anyone else noticed a massive increase in the prevalence of “loud” cars around BR over the past 3-5 years?
Uh, it's a racecar, so my car is going to be loud. Not much I can do about it, since it is a racecar. Go back inside, and plug in your Tesla.

there is a special place in hell for anyone with a loud muffler whether its a truck, car or motorcycle. They can all die in a fiery crash

Oh yeah, it’s gotten way out of hand, and it’s obnoxious as hell, but what do they care? It’s only about them. It’s always about them. Centers of the frickin universe.

I had a pretty loud truck in HS and early college, but agree looking back it was a douche move.
BUT, as a sports car enthusiast, I can appreciate a nice muscle or sports car with a loud quality exhaust system. That's pretty much all I can tolerate though.

Loud mufflers on an unmodified V8 auto really highlights the inefficiency of the trans.

Hate to break it to you, buddy, but if you can drive it to work every day.. it’s not a racecar.

I like a good sounding V8 exhaust....but these assholes with Carolina Squat going on and the obnoxious as hell glass packs make me want to kill a MFer. I don't know how they can stand to ride in it.

In N.O. getting new tires on my pickup last Saturday and hanging just outside the shop door talking to one of the mechanics when one of those Japanese small cars with the huge canister exhaust tails passes by. To me, it sounded like a lawn mower on steroids and whining high pitched as the kid went through the gears.
The mechanic threw this out there for thought. He said "That sounds like my old lady trying not to fart after several beers." I fell out laughing and was glad his wife was not around to hear that.

All the lifts, lights, tires, wheels, loud exhaust stems from Baja/Trophy Trucks.
