Got a cheap flight for a weekend trip in early December. Is it even worth going right now or are the Covid restrictions killing that place still?

That is why flights are so cheap.

Aren't your partying days pretty far in your past these days?

Just go to Branson with the rest of the old folks.

I would not go anytime in 2020 or early 2021. I have several friends that live there and they are taking it very seriously with the mask requirement and closures. I suppose it depends what you want to do when there but it would not make a hotel/ubers/other costs of travel worth a weekend for me.

I live in Manhattan. If you want to make a quick weekend trip for some museums and restaurants, this is a fine time to do it. Both restaurants and museums are open with reduced capacity and reservations are readily available.

The weather is nice, so you can bike around. The subways are cleaned nightly and are at most half full (depending on the time and line), so it’s a relatively safe means for travel.

You can also rent a car one day and go up to Hudson Valley to check out the trees and drink wine/beer/cider.

Avoid Times Square and midtown.
