Besides here, which is 90:10 conservative:liberal posters (which is fine for debate-niks & diverse-take trolls that can make for interesting discourse), I'm not familiar with a 100% conservative board with millions of posters nation-wide scouring the web for an infinite number of conservative topics/takes for the board.

Whereas for leftists, they have /r/politics and democratic underground which are massive 100% militant echo-chambers for democratic rants, socialist ideology and commie news. I hate that there is absolutely no diversity of thought allowed to rebut the insanity, but those boards are a great barometer/resource for leftist NPC spin on a certain subject/event.

Is there a conservative equivalent?

There pretty much isn't any. And Free Republic has a horribly clunky website layout and confusing design. Too bad, because otherwise I'd love to spend a lot of time on it.

Yeah, I just went to freerepublic and its a major eyesore. Looks like good content tho.

The Donald design/layout is much more inviting (TD still kicks their arse tho). First post I looked at had embedded video, too, which was quite nice, instead of having to click a link to wait for a page to load and then wait for an ad to finish so you can watch the video. (You listening, Chicken/Circus Child?)

I don't think FreeRepublic has updated their code in 15 years. They went to better servers at one time, but I doubt they need that any longer. I am sure their visits are way off their peak which was probably around 2012.

Last I checked, they still had the quarterly fund raising. What they use the money for is anyone's guess. Probably just direct deposits into Jim's account. Can't imagine they need more than 2k a year to actually operate. If they do, then they should move to Microsoft Azure.

And with the sense of community I have found here, I would not even be interested in a national board.

With the scope of teams the fans here follow, we actually are national. Just maybe hard to find which is okey dokey with me.

I think this is the most enjoyable aspect of TigerDroppings. Where it doesn't matter if you root for the Tigers, Tide, Aggies, Longhorns, Gators, Bulldogs, Trojans, Buckeyes, Wolverines, Vols or whatever - almost all of us here are conservative patriots in a conservative-patriot family.

At the end of the day, a conservative LSU fan and conservative Alabama fan have a lot more in common than a conservative LSU fan and a liberal LSU fan.

r/Conservative isn't too bad. The mods do a pretty good job there of keeping the garbage down to a minimum.

After a week or so you can get a flair which is sort of fruity, but the flair-only discussions are generally devoid of leftist trash.

Overall it isn't a bad sub.

Freerepublic was great 20 years ago. It's gone downhill.

Voat.co is great if you like almost zero censorship. But you'd better not be easily offended.
