He could tell her anything he wanted, but that doesn't mean she would listen. Tell me how he would be able to over rule her decisions?

I'd imagine he could use whatever laws enabled home to make the shutdowns in the first place and change it to local policies cannot be more restrictive than the state mandates, but I don't know for sure. I do know he's doing nothing though, which should bother you.

Since my other thread got the anchor, I'll say it here:

One thing I've learned during this whole ordeal is that liberty truly is a figment of our imaginations. Our 'leadership' throws the masses a few bones to keep them fooled and in line, but ultimately these low level public officials are all powerful. There are no checks and balances. This has been proven many times before, but it is crystal clear now to anyone with eyes or ears.
