Pyre Provisions on 21, about a mile north of 12. It may only be a lunch item, though. Might wanna call.

Solid dinner options, too.

Old Rail used to make a pretty good burger, particularly some of their monthly specials, but they got a new chef and changed their menu.

The Lee’s in Slidell is probably still top 5. The Lee’s in Covington is not even worth entering.

Why is Lee's so inconsistent like that? Metairie Road Lee's is great while Airline Drive Lee's sucks.

This article explains why. It’s not really a chain. The one in Slidell has the OG grill and one of the OG’s grandson grilling burgers as he has been for 40 years.
