I have always assumed parenting teens would be the hardest of them all. I’ve heard many say they wouldn’t go back to the baby/toddler years but I find it to be the easiest.
They’re right. Once they can wipe their own arse, dress and feed themselves it’s all gravy.
Especially now with Uber and all these food delivery apps

not a parent but toddlers seem exhausting. physically and mentally.

Definitely the teenage years

I have a spirited toddler who is pitching 30 minute tantrums over nothing and still needs a lot of direction, so this phase is definitely exhausting in its own way. I feel like if we had #2, the infant stage would be a piece of cake - so much of what makes it hard is just learning OTJ.
On the other hand, I've worried about the teenage years since before she was born.

I have daughters, no pics. I would say without a doubt the hardest was the pre-teen to early teen years. Pretty darn easy before and after that

I don’t know what’s so challenging about any part. My daughters seems to be doing very well and making lots of money with their online web cam business and dancing.

I was always told the bigger the kid gets the bigger the problems become.

I have 4 teenagers (one step) and it’s by far the hardest years in a lot of ways even though they’re all great kids. Wish I could go back in time 10 years ago.

Physically exhausting - toddler. I have a one year old and I’m just tired. Literally you have to do everything for them on top of teaching them everything too.
Mentally - ages 13-16. I have one daughter who will be 14 and I’m just so tired by the end of the night. The hormones, the attitude everything she does I just want to go to bed and sleep. Plus they alllll want to be on social media at this age. The gram, snap chat, tik tok and it alllll trash. Gotta be cool and know the best tik tok dances. It’s all dumb and I hate it and I banned it from her phone. Too many fricking sick assholes out there. I will say that they do come out of that stage eventually and start to act human again. I will have an 18 year old daughter in 11 days and about 90% of the time she is cool and fun to be around. The other 10% I chalk it up to being an emotional human. Plus she has a job now so she isn’t asking me to buy her stupid shite as much lol.
And I agree teenage girls (13-16) are so MEAN. Just downright awful. So catty and drama filled and mean. Blugh.

My wife and I have enjoyed every year.

Whatever phase you are in currently.
I've got an 11 and 5 year old, they are both challenging in their own ways. Things get easier in one area but then harder in another. What worked for one doesn't work for the other.

Its all relative. Infant stage SUCKS. Toddlers are a time killer because you have to watch all the time. 7-11 is a decent age. 11-15 is intro to preteen/teen hormones drama. 15-18 is a mental chess game. College is lonely or exhausting if they have substance issues. Grandkids are money. BUT THE JOURNEY IS frickING AMAZING!!! I recommend unprotected sex

18-23. I've lost more sleep since my son went to college than I ever did any other phase before. He's a relatively good kid but he's doing the things I was doing at that age and it keeps me up at night.

You have to have them trained correctly before they turn 2,after that it is smooth sailing.

I have a 16 year old son and 14 year old daughter and I don't really remember any difficult years. They seem to be getting better and better the more they can do for themselves.

Each age group has challenges, and while you're in each phase, it is the worst.
I have a 13 yr old daughter and 10 yr old son.
13 is the absolute worse so far and I know it'll get worse before it gets better. My once sweet, smart, caring little girl is not that anymore. They just keep getting more expensive and less appreciative.
My 10 yr old son is great! It's a struggle to get him to focus on homework, but it is getting better. He still thinks I'm fun to be around. He enjoys watching football and movies with me, wants to do stuff just like his dad. I hope this phase lasts a while.

I don’t have kids yet, but taking care of a toddler that depends on you 24/7 to live sounds a hell of a lot more challenging than telling little Saylor to get her skank arse off Instagram
Clearly you don't have kids yet. There isn't much reasoning or logic when it comes to dealing with a toddler. Reasoning or logic when it comes to dealing with a teenager is, complicated.
