reinstated a Nov. 3 due date for mail ballots in Wisconsin in a ruling that a dissenting judge argued would disenfranchise thousands of voters.
How long does it take to walk to your mailbox? How long does it take to drive to the post office? How long does it take to drive a couple miles to the nearest early voting place. If all that is too hard, how long does it take to go vote on Election Day.
Drives me crazy when supposed learned people like judged throw out bullshite about disenfranchising voters without explaining how. How is even one person who wants to vote being disenfranchised by requiring votes to be in by Election Day?

I love how this leftist judge is pissing and moaning about a days-long deadline extension would help “protect the franchise of thousands of voters” when only a month ago a partisan Democrat committee conspired to keep a black man off the ballot because he was literally 3 minutes late submitting signatures - and that was only because the doors of city hall were locked due to COVID.
Some deadlines are racist but some deadlines aren’t

I'm not positive, but I think the judge is Jewish and some Jews do not spell out the name of God.

WTF?
The writer is Jewish. His name is too holy to be written in its entirety.

I believe it is a Jewish thing. They don't believe you should spell God out as it is a sin or disgraceful or something like that. That is their workaround.

Stealing Wisconsin just got a bit harder.

Like father, like son. The Bushes are/were disasters in every conceivable way
Maybe we should go for Packing the Court while Trump is President and nullify all these son of a bitches

This is pretty much going to be every ruling across the states. You cant just change the law just because. It has to be done in a lawful manner.
I think SC was the other state that ruled the same way.

They have a right to show up on November 3 and cast a ballot like more than 100 million other people.

I'm lectured daily about how masks are so effective and to "just wear the damned mask." If masks are so effective why can't they just vote in person?

quote:I don't follow this logic. If they can mail a ballot on November 3rd why couldn't they have mailed it in a week earlier? 2 weeks earlier? I can't stroll up to the poll at 10 p.m. on the 3rd and demand to vote just because it's my right to vote. It's a right, but there's a deadline to to execute that right.
