(CNN)White supremacist extremists will remain the deadliest domestic terror threat to the United States, according to the Department of Homeland Security's first annual homeland threat assessment, which details a range of threats from election interference to unprecedented storms.
Since 2018, White supremacists have conducted more lethal attacks in the US than any other domestic extremist movement, demonstrating a "longstanding intent" to target racial and religious minorities, members of the LGBTQ+ community, politicians and those they believe promote multi-culturalism and globalization, according to the report.
"As Secretary, I am concerned about any form of violent extremism," wrote acting Homeland Security Secretary Chad Wolf. "However, I am particularly concerned about white supremacist violent extremists who have been exceptionally lethal in their abhorrent, targeted attacks in recent years."
The assessment, which comes less than a month before Election Day, was the subject of a recent whistleblower complaint alleging political influence at the department. White supremacy was at the forefront of the first presidential debate last week, when President Donald Trump declined to condemn White supremacists. He instead blamed ?what he called "antifa and the left?" for violence and told the far-right Proud Boys to "stand back and stand by."

If they are such a deadly menace, surely there are statistics backing this up?

This is literally the reason you clean house and fire everyone from the previous administration.

No, just feelings

Well wouldn't antifa be considered white supremacists? It's made up of mostly white people who think they are superior to others and they terrorize the country.

The last time this was discussed the statistics included prison gangs.

100%. I know it's leading cause. Anti-Racism.
Racist white Supremiscst like Robin Deangelo(Author of White Fragility), AOC, Shaun King, MacArthur Foundation, 1619 Project, liberal teachers, Black History Museum, University leadership, and all the white apologists seem to think that other races need a monolithic voice and are too oppressed to speak for themselves.
These avert white supremacists need to be stopped and their ideas need to be purged from society.

There you have it. Anyone who argues against these things is going to be labeled a "terrorist"

So, other than racial minorities, what does why supremacy have to do with any of the others?
What they mean is mean White people.

I know plenty of people who know that whites are more intelligent (15 to 18 IQ points) than blacks but they’re not racists or supremacists or terrorists. I refer to them as “realists”.

White People - with no 'supremacy' mindset - as a (counter) revolutionary Group...no doubt; they are persecuted and attacked as being Racist by Leftist/Transnational Progressive Ideologues, and punished for defending themselves when attacked. They are locked, loaded and primed for payback, if the Left keeps pushing, and blood is shed. There IS a line in the sand; I suspect that line is being approached by the Left.
Chad Wolf is right on the "threat", but wrong on the motivation, and the designation ("terrorist").
Mind games. Sure recipe for calamity.

I am a middle aged white guy who has lived primarily in Louisiana, Tennessee, Mississippi, and Texas.
I have never met a white supremacist, ever.
