I don’t even agree with that at all.
New Zealand has been under glorified house arrest for six months as an isolated island nation and even they have active cases. And the minute they open up everything full stop, it’s going to spread just like it does everywhere else.
The only way to stop this virus from spreading everywhere is to literally put everyone in perpetual house arrest and destroy the global economy permanently, or at least until a vaccine comes out of the sort that can eradicate the virus.
There is a lot of hubris with this idea that we had any type of long term control over this once it escaped Wuhan.

the reason these jobs were lost was because there is less money in the economy to pay their wages

I’m not sure how fiat currencies go unscathed from the rapid introduction of so much capital.
The only thing keeping high inflation rates at bay right now in my opinion is the slow velocity of money, as people aren’t pushing demand that high for the goods usually used to judge inflation as many people are simply hoarding money in rainy day fund (although I think there is a demand induced inflation in the stock market right now)

Trump's economy is permanent lost jobs. But most of them are retail and restaurants jobs, so those don't count as real jobs according to Politards prior to Trump taking office.

I don’t have an excuse for government overspending and am extremely worried about hyperinflation, as you’d see if you looked a few posts up and weren’t being a tool.

A substantial portion of this economic fallout falls at the feet of state governors, and a lot of it is also that we foster a culture of overleveraging ourselves and many private parties know there isn’t any real risk because they know they can expect a bailout courtesy of Uncle Sam. But honestly after six months of a slow economy, any leverage at all becomes overleveraged.
