Because in case you frickers forget, most sane people think White Supremist are KKK or Neo Nazi. BUT to people like Biden, The Democrats, Chris Wallace and the majority of the media. WHITE Supremacy is anyone that is the following:

-Voted for Trump
-Non-Whites(Like me) Who Voted for Trump
-Don't Support Black Lives Matters
-Don't Support Antifa
-Don't Support Defunding Police
-Don't Support immunity for Illegal Immigrations
-Support the Wall
-Anyone that Vote Republican's

And many other, THAT is White Supremecy right now to the Left and Media. A better question for Chris Wallace to ask is ...

"Mr President, would you denounce the KKK?" ANd Trump would have done it in a heart beat.

But White Supremacy? After the narrative the LEft painted on what it is and who it included now?

if Trump's supporters understand this and accept it, then what did Trump have to lose by giving a simple, proper answer?

you think Trump would lose support for this?

This poster has to be a special type of idiot. Easily the stupidest analysis I’ve heard yet from the debate.

It was a total gotcha question by Wallace but it was still a softball and Trump gave a horrible answer like he did much of the night.

no it was a softball that trump should have used to end that narrative and denounce all supremacy and terror groups including the KKK, BLM, and Antifa. It was a softball question that he could have used to end a narrative and could have flipped and asked Biden to denounce BLM and Antifa and other communist groups.

He fricked it up

Trumpkins love to say they're the ones who have the Trump decoder ring to understand the true genius of all of his gaffes, but they also are scared to have him condemn white supremacists publicly, because it may include people they (and I, mind you) don't consider white supremacists? And that will anger that group? Or that Trump-supporting group doesn't have the decoder ring to understand what he's really doing? And it will make them vote for Biden?

it makes no sense

I think the issue with Trumps response was that he was too focused on deflectIng Responsibility for the recent violence back to the left (where it should be) and he didn’t pay close enough attention to the “white supremacy” part of the question, which is the part people are latching on to.

Jesus, he stepped right into it.

Why doesn't he simply say I denounce white power groups and discrimination of every kind.

However the fake news and certain liberals often unfairly lump groups that support free speech in with them for the insane belief that if you believe in the free exchange of ideas you must be racist.

I also support purple protecting their families, their homes and their businesses against Mostly peaceful protests. If you've ever been in a violent encounter, mostly peaceful is Stupid way of saying violent.

So democratic cities and states protect your citizens or they will have no choice but to defend themselves.

Bam. You just denounced white power groups while getting your point across.

I really don’t think he side stepped it. When you read the transcript, it answers immediately

He's fumbled this like 50 times I have no idea why he wasn't prepared to answer this simple question and give such a sloppy reponse.

I think he was asking for clarification but did it in a way that seemed to want to avoid answering directly.

But nuance wasn't needed. Just get a soundbite denouncing them. What is the real cost?

You must be slow. Trump has done this many times on camera. He did this after the charlottesville thing, many times. Maybe you don't remember. Maybe then, you could tell me that exactly what does white supremacists have anything to do with the riots in the liberals wastelands of America? You can't. Because they have no bearing on the matter. Wallace pivoted from ANTIFA riots, to charlottesville as a way to try and make Trump forget about Portlandistan. You know this. If not, then you are retarded.

So "why didn't he just condemn them", because he already did. Wallace's entire purpose was to plant that seed of racism in stupid people's head. You fell for the bait.

This is all, literally, irrelevant.

What is the cost of doing it again?

quote:

Wallace's entire purpose was to plant that seed of racism in stupid people's head.

And Trump could have clearly denounced it. Instead, he allowed that seed to grow and explode today.

Is it really a "softball" when you listen to the question and realize Wallace was saying, "white supremacy...errr, militias," with Biden throwing in "...errr, Proud Boys" while Trump was trying to answer?

It was nothing but a gotcha all around and Biden was actually remarkably ready to pounce.

Trump literally asked Wallace, "who do you want me to denounce? Name someone and i'll denounce them" and Biden piped in "proud boys" and Wallace echoed "Yeah, thanks Joe, the proud boys". The problem is, the Proud boys are not a white supremacist group. So again, surely you aren't so stupid as to think Wallace was being intellectually honest, were you?

.note that the same statement of condemnation included militia, who are not inherently racist nor white supremacist, as well as a reference to Kenosha.
By offering a blanket condemnation to the statement as a whole, without carving out his position on militia, who right or wrong, are attempting to project a sense of law and order in lawless areas or justifying actions taken by civilians to protect life and liberty in Kenosha, he provides the sound-bite to dems to invalidate militias and self-defense during "peaceful protests".

He should have taken the broad question and answered with a precise response like, “I condemn the KKK and labeled them a terrorist group, unlike VP Biden. I also don’t associate with KKK terrorists like a Robert Byrd, unlike my running mate.”
