Anybody have some insight to that statement? I have a liberal buddy citing a Forbes article and I can’t see the actual numbers or if it’s valid etc. Looks like they went back and updated numbers earlier this year. Any help would be great.

Well the closer you get to full employment the harder it is to add jobs. That’s why once the COVID recovery started jobs were being added at record paces. Trump started out decently high so it’s hard to add jobs on top of that. But the economy definitely grew a lot since then just not necessarily employment if I’m understanding the economics right.

If you weigh 500 Lbs, it’s easier to lose 10 than if you weigh 150.

Obama went from 12% unemployment to 8, in 8 years. Trump went from 8 to 4%, then lost 6% due to Coronavirus, then gained 2% and went back to 8% and will be back down to 6 or 7 after the next job numbers are out even with the shut down of liberal states.
Wallace was being dishonest (i know shocker) about his statement. And he also failed to mention we were at rock bottom, and as stated by Trump, had the slowest recovery from a recession in the history of the United States. This is 100% fact and has been stated by every economic analyst alive. Wallace, however, was trying to control the narrative. Wallace is a giant piece of shite.

If true, I would assume Government jobs (with our tax dollars).

Part time jobs vs higher paying. Take a look at real wage metrics and you will see the big difference.

So, in other words, we are basically right where we were when Obama left office while in the middle (backend) of a pandemic that has numerous restrictions on businesses from people able to get to full capacity; there by, brining back their people.

Not all jobs are equal. Part time jobs to avoid obamacare is not the same thing as manufacturing jobs,

There have been more "liberal buddies" referenced on here in the past 12 hours than in the previous three years.

I call him liberal, but he’s a probably in the middle. Trying to convert him.

Yep. Bureaucracy was a hell of a drug under OBiden. And don’t forget all those diversity officer type jobs they thought up.

Yeh, that's why he went on record as saying those jobs were gone... because he created them.

It’s true. Democrats wouldn’t support mortgage reform so the housing market/financial institutions crashed. A large percentage of Americans were out of work when Obama was elected (by the Democrats on doing). Unemployment was fairly low when Trump took over so his jobs were mostly new jobs, not jobs from the recovery.

BINGO
average household income went up a shitload with trump. it was flat (or even negative) under obama

Yes..tons of low paying and part time jobs.

Obama’s “””job creation””” was also largely based on part-time jobs because the economy was awful under him and full time jobs were being lost and split. It was a big bullshite bureaucratic numbers game to make him look good. Everyone knew our economy was in the shitter under that clown

I have no f*cking clue what Wallace was referring to with those bullsh!t numbers.
However, I do remember that the percentages were fraudulent because Odumbf*ck's idea of lowering the unemployment RATE was to get as many people completely out of the f*cking job market (and completely f*cking dependent on government) so that his unemployment rate would go down. Under Odumbf*ck the labor force participation was at an all time low.
From the Boston Freakin Herald no less

Many of Obama/Biden's "jobs" where part-time fast food type jobs...not real jobs. Remember when they shoved Obamacare down our throat many people went from fulltime to part time (<30hrs a week) to avoid having to give them insurance whether they wanted it (or could afford it) or not. Fact.
