Lol jets is killing it rn, buddy just txt me he has almost 200 receiving yards for the Vikings

His stats are very misleading. He clearly is not ready to run a wide open offense. We need to set up the run, so it will open the passing and allow him to get more comfortable and build some confidence. IMO, he looks scared and unprepared. I've always been a MB fan, but his performance last night was tough to watch. However, I put part of that blame on the coaches for having a horrible offensive game plan.

Lmfao wut???
Experience is huge right here. He had a whole season as a starter.
The miss st "first year starter" had over 790 pass attempts in 3years...
The LSU "first start ever" has had no more than 70 pass attempts total.
Y'all are crazy and pathetic

I told anyone who would listen that this was the problem all day yesterday.
Well, thanks Capt Obvious. It’s not rocket surgery to understand that one.

Should have had 600 yards.
On 45 attempts, hell yes

This. The situational numbers & all 22 film tell a different story. Brennan was awful on 3rd down (the money down) & in the redzone. His pre & post snap reads for a majority of the plays were atrocious.

It was just that kind of game. Anthony Jennings wouldve had the same numbers
Posted on 9/27/20 at 3:36 pm to High C
And that’s wrong, Brennan held the ball an average of 2.5 seconds yesterday. He had no pocket to step into throws and had people all over him allday.

He looked bad, everyone saw it. 0 confidence, deer in the headlights.

They’re never gonna blame the D because they’ve all anointed Pelini god and they’ll never back off of that. A bunch of us predicted that if something went wrong this year Brennan would be the scape goat. The rant has been hinting at this for months and if he didn’t equal or exceed Burrow, impossible btw, he would be bashed and it’s already started.

That would be great if we had 150 rushing and 0-1 turnover. He is playing scared, not stepping up in the pocket and being confident in his throws. We couldn’t get state to punt and we were punting way too often. Have to learn to move the chains. He needs to stop looking for the 3 yard pass so fast.

No one, not one, thought this would happen.

He had plenty of pocket, he would just backpedal into the rushing defensive end instead of stepping up into the pocket.

He made plays, his missed plays, and that across the body toss into the end one for a TD is an interception in most games. Is he making plays the other QBs can’t make?
Posted on 9/27/20 at 3:51 pm to KamaCausey_LSU
Um no he didn’t and he back pedaled because the interior was being pushed into his feet. We couldn’t run the ball either because we couldn’t block that but you guys are too lazy and biased to acknowledge that fact because it goes against the narrative.

Stats don't make him a good QB. He was short on a few long passes but the WR made the play and his pass to Gilbert was pure luck. He did not have it at all and got outplayed by many true freshmen from some of the games I watched. He is slow, reads are slow, he throws way too late, if he has to get out the pocket then the play is over because he cant find anyone nor throw on the run

Also he was trying to throw it away on one of his TD's and got bailed out by Gilbert.

And they probably thought you were dumb.
On the MAJORITY of his passes (29) he let it fly under 3 seconds and hit 72 percent of them.
One game. Move on
