Let’s all stop pretending that today was a result of what we lost in the offseason. I’m over that excuse. We lost a lot yea, but I was told we would get elite coordinators because that wasn’t O’s specialty....instead we got two geriatrics calling offense, a retread calling d, and a felon as a special assistant to the head coach.

Any of his players opt out?

Maybe that’s a start?

Idk... but what I do know is Saban doesn't give a shite about who has waited their turn to play. He's going to play the best player and he doesnt hesitate to replace a guy if he's not getting the job done.

They have had the top recruiting class, or damn near it, for 12 years.

Go back and Look at LSU’s 2018 class. Today was a huge reflection of that.

If O can somehow manage to recruit at that level (spoiler he won’t), then LSU won’t miss a beat.

They didn’t lose all but 3 starters from last season’s team

I agree 100%, but are we gonna act like Mac Jones didn’t gain valuable experience after Tua went down?

Mac Jones has never looked as bad as Brennan looked today.

Any chance that was by design?

I’ve got to wait another 28 days, so I may eat my words. But I’m confident I won’t. A lot of teams will be exposed in this strange year. Three teams won’t and they also had no opt outs.

This is not a troll response.

LSU is not on Alabama's level and doesn't have the resources to "reload".

Also, stating the obvious, Saban is a legendary coach who has the game figured out and down to a science. Orgeron is smart but compared to Saban he is a simpleton

Nail on the head. They get 1st-3rd rounders ie Leatherwood, Moses, D Smith, and N Harris to come back. It seems like anyone eligible for the draft at LSU declares.

They have a constant in their coach. Unfortunately, so does LSU

Because their juniors come back and returning starters didn’t quit on the team

Because Saban is the best ever. However, he should have won more than 1 NC with Tua considering the ridiculous number of 1st round WRs he had to go with the rest of the elite talent.
