Am I a bad person

I'm in McDonalds drive through just getting a coffee, black and when I get up there to pay my 99 cents the lady tells me the guy in front paid for me, and that's been going on for 27 cars. I look behind me and it's a fricking minivan packed with kids.
I said thanks! And drove off. I think if it were just a single person or maybe a couple I would have played along, but there was no way I was going to pay $40 or $50 for God knows how many meals because the person in front of me paid for a coffee.
Am I a bad person?

I have done this on long road trips. Its better than gas station coffee. And some small towns its all you got

The most a mini van can carry is 7 passengers. Very few carry 8.
