RBG was 87. She had battled cancer, courageously, several times. She was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer a while back.

Pancreatic cancer, especially at that age, is just not something she was likely to survive. This is no surprise and should not be treated as one.

I hope she rests in peace and wish her family condolences.

A look into the minds of the insane, how can you think like this?

quote:

Looks like my time as an American citizen might over, and I’ll have to take the plunge and migrate to a new country, no matter the personal cost and sacrifice, like my ancestors. I will not live in a Christian Theocracy.

Today the United States becomes a full Nazi nation.

Well... if y'all don't get your asses out to vote now, it's game over for Roe v Wade and environmental policies for 30-40 years.

Yikes. Losing abortion and gay rights is now a realistic possibility

frick. Welcome to the dictatorship America.

This one right here, if it was anywhere but Reddit I’d call bullshite.

Waiting for the sake of the appearance of fairness would be a massive blunder for the GOP who has a concrete powerplay in hand.

This. Anyone even entertaining the notion that Dims would do anything other than force a nomination through, in the same circumstance, is a fricking idiot.

The Democrats cheat their arse off. They have already said they are getting rid of the filibuster if they get Senate. Look at what Reid did in the House. Why should Republicans care anything about what they think on this? If you have the votes put a Justice on the Court.

I’m shocked they referenced heaven and angels.

Most of them don’t believe in those sorts of things.

I know I'm a despised liberal in a conservative board, but genuinely curious: how many of you think the country should wait to appoint as we did with the last election?

Schumer ended the filibuster on judicial appointments when he was emperor and thought democrats would forever be the majority.
Them chickens are coming home.

This is way too serious of an appointment to play stupid political games with the libs. He should push through the most conservative person we can find and hopefully save the country from the wackos.

they don't get that the founder of planned parenthood literally supported eugenics, and it's minority communities that are targeted.

I’ll be glad to give you a response

With President Obama there was a Republican controlled Senate with a Democratic White House. Leader McConnell said leave it to the election to let the people decide because it was currently a split decision with R’s controlling the Senate and a Dem in the White House.

Go back and listen to Leader McConnell during the Garland nomination. He was very clear that it was because of opposing party controlling each (Senate / WH).

If the Dems weren't acting like they were, I could be ok with waiting till after the election.

But after doing these things, F them.
-treating Kavanaugh like they did
-impeaching the president who did nothing wrong
-attempting a political coup of DJT who was duly elected by the people of this country
-destroying lives of advisors, aids , and a general in order to get Trump destroy his presidency
-outright lying about DJT and his supporters being Nazis and racist
-lying about DJT supporting white suprimacist
-trying to impeach him for delaying aid to Ukraine while Biden had a quid pro quo and threatened withholding billions unless Ukraine removed a prosecutor getting close to Hunter
-lying about DJT saying soldiers buried in France were losers
-democrats and Marxist saying they will riot if Trump is re elected.
-democrats not standing up for communities and lives being destroyed by riots because they thought it was a way to defeat DJT.

There is no decency in the DNC or democrats in general, they are all in lock step. They are all about getting power from GOP and Trump at the expense of peoples lives, livelihood, businesses, and liberty. They are playing a win at all cost game and have a ends justify the means mindset no matter what it does to the country or to the individual. They are spreading division and hate before the RBG death, so they won't all of a sudden turn nice if the GOP bows to them and holdnoff on SCOTUS.

So for me, the division can't get any worse by the Dems, so move.forward and do your best to safeguard the constitution from the vile locust of Marxism and progressives.

In short, F them.

If the roles were reversed with Hillary as President and a Democrat controlled Senate, what do you think Hillary and Schumer would do?
