It’s science.

Apparently the legislature will NOT do anything, because Louisiana Republicans have a supermajority there.

Yep. Legislature could end it next week if they wanted to.

I'm sure everyone thinks their rep/senator would definitely do it and it's the others who are the problem. No one will even get it to a vote. Trash. All of them.

If you call them, they talk all tough. But when you ask about voting on it, they hem and haw about reviewing the impacts of Phase 3 a little more. Book it.

No. I found out today that my legislator is a POS.

I get it that everyone wants to blame the Republicans that voted for Edwards. But let’s be real here. Every fing Democrat in this state voted for that dipshit and he is governing like a typical Democrat does. So how in the frick is this all a very small minority of misguided republicans fault??

Pretty stupid, i agree.

However, having a reason to have to go home after 10 isn’t the worst thing in the world.

This is why i enjoy day drinking. Drunk in the day, asleep by 10-11. Awake in the morning like nothing happened

Trump 2020

I'm not a huge fan of Trump but I just have very little in common with the modern Democrat party. They are easily the lesser of the two options to me.

Hey maybe it’ll motivate people to care more a lot local elections instead of arguing over the national crap that has little bearing on your day to day life

My wife and I have been talking a lot about this lately. The POTUS has very little impact on our business. The governor and these local clowns have done significantly more damage to us.

Because if they would have not voted for a “moderate” democrat (which in reality there is no such thing) then JBE would have lost the election.

I know Dems are happy about government telling them how to live their lives because they are insecure as hell but rep are supposed to be about less government.

You people who are not Dems and voted for this a-hole this last election are the #1 reason we are in the shite we are in now with this fricking clown! All JBE is doing is towing the party line so he can run for Congress after being governor because he knows if he doesn’t he won’t get elected.

Who is the Southern Baptist that is guiding JBE with his decision making skills? Sounds like JBE wants a permanent statewide mandate that all bars close at 10 PM.
that Tangipahoa-Livingston area is notoriously Baptist and it bleeds into BR

The dear leader of Louisiana (JBE) just imposed a 10 PM curfew for ALL ALCOHOL SALES for in person consumption. We now live in an absolute bizzaro world. Email me if you are interested in getting together to protest this tomorrow.

You don’t see the problem in ADDING restrictions in a supposedly more relaxed phase?

Make sure you wear your muzzle, and you better not say anything the collective doesn't agree with. Oh yeah, and coming get your guns too.
