What you have done is not STFU, which seems to be your SOP.

Please STFU.

Looking at TWC they showed a graphic that seems to indicate that the winds are at least 30+ miles east of where the eastern side of the eye actually is located. What makes it appear like that? As if there are only slight winds where the eyewall is compared to farther east.

Looks like the center of Sally made landfall about 10 miles east of where Ivan did.

Gulf Highlands just east of Fort Morgan vs. the west side of Gulf Shores

We used to have a place on the eastern shore - I helped rebuild our wharf several times when they looked like that after storms. Those pilings are in rough shape though.

I remember Elena as a kid. Weird storm. But it was 1985.

For whomever asked about Bayshore towers a few pages ago, everything is ok there for most part

Talked to an old condo neighbor in there, and trees on property and fence next to parking lot are damaged, but dont appear to be any blown out windows

All boats that were left behind in the slips seem to be gone though from his view

all boats and boat slips no longer there

Trees and street lights down. No houses in the neighborhood destroyed yet.

Looks like solid Cat 2 damage - bad but not catastrophic - if there is no surge or flooding damage

it didn't help matters at all when TWC's focus was on new orleans.

You do know the weather channel is not the national hurricane center the two are totally separate right? The weather channel’s job is to get ratings. Governments don’t make decisions based off the weather channel.
