New, no alcohol sales

Check your email, alcohol won’t be sold in Death Valley for at least the first game. I’m about to pass, it’s not going to be any fun

Honestly, it's probably more about they put all of these measures in place in order to have SOME football, so the last thing they want is to help people lower their inhibitions and make things harder on them.
I like a beer like the next guy, but I'm just glad we have football.

"Sloppy drunk" was a bit of hyperbole, but I was mainly objecting to the idea that someone is "sad" if they can watch a game without drinking.
