Floors me that Freaks and Geeks didn’t get at least a second season. It was ahead of its time and obviously had a stellar all star cast

it was 3 seasons but hogans heros had the ability to run 10-12 seasons easy if only bob crane didnt get murdered for fricking around with everyones wives in hollywood

Hogans Heroes went for six seasons and Crane wasn't murdered until 1978.

Good Omens on Amazon is a super underrated one. Self contained 1 season

Also for all the Freaks and Geeks love, I thought I should mention Undeclared. Also very excellent and should’ve been a show for 10 years along with Freaks

Intentionally only one season, but Godless was a great show.

Jonny Quest (the original) was only a one-season show.

Aired in PRIME TIME in 1964-65 on ABC.

Easy one to forget is playmakers that was made and aired on ESPN. Was going to be more than one season but NFL made ESPN cancel it due to it being to realistic about what goes on behind the scenes of the NFL with steroid use and domestic violence

Caprica, a prequel series to Battlestar Galactica, was setting up to be very interesting but ratings and costs forced them to cancel after just one season.

Ditto. Really enjoyed the series when I watched it last year.

To the question, Bodyguard.

Absolutely. They had enough warning to wrap it up quick in the season finale, in a terribly unsatisfying way. But fricking great show up to that.
