What did they sacrifice? Honestly I am not trying to be a dick. Please answer me that before I gives these athletes a pat on the back for being woke.

Again, that may end up being the case, it doesn't change the fact that they were willing to give up at least the game and maybe even more.
It’s more than the other teams but with a 3-1 series lead as a 14 point favorite, they weren’t risking much even if they had to forfeit the game.

At some point, we are gonna have to talk about actual data and who is effected by police, cultural issues in communities that lead to incarnation of a large segment of the population, and income opportunities. I don't think the people who are protesting will like what the data states.

They were willing to give up 1 game against the Magic. When the chips were on the table last night they voted to keep playing. Bunch of spineless bitches.

I mean I already laid this out 2 or 3 times
- forfeit a playoff game
- possibly sacrifice the rest of the playoffs
- lots of $$$ if the season doesn't resume
Yes I am aware that it is possible none of that happens, but by not playing yesterday they willingly opened up the possibility for all of that to happen, all for a cause they believe in.

When they decided not to play they were willing to forfeit. Again, they may face no consequences, but they were willing to.
There was LITERALLY zero chance that soy boy Adam Silver was going to make them forfeit that game. The players run that league, which is part of the reason it is in the process of being run into the ground.
So no, they were risking absolutely nothing, and they knew it.

Of course they won't. There has to be some accountability from the black community and there has been zero talk of it.

What exactly did they sacrifice? Playing on Thursday instead of Wednesday?

Considering the fact that they had the best record in the NBA, a chance at a championship
Considering they’re up 3-1 in their series and aren’t trying to cancel the season, no they did not sacrifice a championship. They wanted the day off, bottom line. They’re drama queens. Only Lebron is pretending to want to cancel the season for attention

Nothing the NBA, or NFL.players or leagues, impresses me. I could care less & this from a former NBA /NFL fanatic. It's all politics now & that can get 24/ 7 were I so inclined. Which I am not. But, tell me libs, do you actually believe this will have any impact on what is going on in the country today? The haters, on both sides, probably do not know it even happened. The large majority, like me I am guessing, could care less as it's just more "noise", nothing substantial, big picture.

What if the cause is completely illegitimate? When the George Floyd video came out, I told everyone I know that the police flat out murdered him. More facts have come out now that show that’s likely not true. When the Brionna Taylor news broke, everything pointed to the police killing a woman in her home because they had the wrong address. Facts are revealing that this isn’t true, either. The Kenosha case has been sketchy from the start. Facts are now coming out that show that the police were justified in their actions. Meanwhile, cities are burning and looted. What may have begun as a genuine protest seeking change has been co-opted by Marxists seeking chaos. So no, I don’t respect them. They are operating from a position of ignorance, willful or not.

Fuk them and fuk the NBA do us all a favor and cancel the playoffs and just fold up the league. Do it now please.

Respect?
What am I suppose to respect? That a majority of these athletes have God given abilities to shoot a basketball and are multi millionaires?
And because they can dribble a ball, I should listen to what they have to say about my white privilege?
